I got a jakl because the ak that takes stanag ar mags went out of stock for a good amount of time and didn't appear to be coming back. (It did) So I did a bunch of research and figured I'd try my luck with a jakl. I experienced the same gripes with shootability but it didn't take me long to get accustomed to it. I took one look at that f5 stock even through a video and could tell I wasn't going to like it. My only other complaint left is that it is a bit on the heavy side, but not bad enough that I wouldn't run it.

This tells me everything i need to know about PSA. I will no longer support their business or products.

The thing that killed me most about this optic was the reticle. I was excited when I heard rumors about them making a lvpo. When it dropped and I saw it, I was instantly turned off. If the reticle was better laid out I probably would have bought one even with it's other compromises. Yet here I am looking at one again...

I couldn't get the Black Yikes 3.0 to work in my Glock 45. I tried with the stock trigger bar and an Agency. Both didn't allow me to pull the trigger fully to the rear to engage the firing pin (the break).

So what do you think about the HRT AWLS lineup vs the Cloud Rein 3.0? Technically, on paper, the HRT AWLS is supposed to have better performance, but a more strict temperature throttling control compared to the rein. I got a surefire Scout Turbo (M640DFT) and while it has truly impressive throw and lux for the relatively low lumen output it has, I still found its overall output to be rather disappointing, although maybe that's part of the way they designed it and intended it. Maybe they actually wanted it to be lower lumens because they found that it was more beneficial for night shooting in terms of being able to 'thread' the light beam through narrow openings without overly illuminating the foreground. And also has a significantly higher run time, which would appeal to people (or soldiers) who are not able to carry enough batteries to just happily burn through 18650s with a CD Rein 3.0. And also the Surefire definitely does have a reduced light signature, massively so, and it doesn't effect my night vision nearly as much as lights with more flood -- even if they are lights with good candela output as well, like the Streamlight HL-X upgrade with 50k Candela -- that light messes with my natural night vision during night shooting significantly more than the surefire did. And I also was getting significantly less backsplash from my environment/near-foreground objects, so the Surefire allowed me to stay significantly more cloaked in darkness as well. Considering that Surefire is using basically the same Emitters as Cloud Defensive and Modlite; which are the Osram series of white lights, known by enthusiasts as the 'Osram Cool white 1 & 2 (W1 & W2)' emitters. (Also, The Surefire is impressive in that it is still able to hit 95,000-105,000 lux with only 700-845 lumen output, giving it a very long battery life overall, and also about 110 minutes of max output runtime if you are letting it cool down even a little bit between uses. It won't start throttling in a significant way unless you run it constantly for about 2m15s to about 2m50s depending on ambient temperature and such)

While I agree that consumers should be aware of what they're purchasing. However, this doesn't absolve the seller from responsibility. If an advertisement implies that a product/service will provide certain benefits, even if those benefits are vague, the seller should be held accountable for delivering on those promises. While Brandon does not have a direct financial stake in SDI, his promotion of the company as a gunsmith himself is form of endorsement/promotion. When influencers especially one who is one himself promote products or services, they are effectively putting their reputation and credibility behind those brands which is to attract new customers. By promoting SDI, Brandon is helping to legitimize the company and give it exposure to his audience. Even if Brandon doesn't have a direct ownership stake. In essence, his influence can be seen as a valuable asset to SDI, which is why the company is willing to pay him to promote their product which is infact a vested interest to shill. SDI's advertisement line, which Brandon repeats every time, that, _"it's a great way to get started in gunsmithing."_ This is the claim about the product's (SDIs) benefits. Unless Brandon is unaware of the scam that others have pointed out he is also responsible since he is promoting it. The excuse of _'you didn't research'_ is not sufficient to absolve him. At best, he is ignorant, and at worst, he is nefariously corrupt. All the people defending Brandon talk about personal accountability and responsibility yet fail to lay any at the feet of the gunflucencer peddling it is oxymoronic.
